Aiguille du Midi cable car

One of the most iconic attractions in Chamonix is the
Aiguille du Midi, a prominent peak that has been captivating visitors for over 60 years. Upon reaching Chamonix, you’ll embark on a cable car journey to the summit of Aiguille du Midi, Europe’s highest point. In just 20 minutes, you’ll ascend to an altitude of 3,700 m, treating yourself to an exceptional panoramic view of Mont-Blanc. The terraces at the summit offer a breathtaking 360° vista of the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps. Additionally, an elevator takes you to the summit terrace at 3,842 m, where you can revel in an awe-inspiring view of Mont-Blanc

Montenvers Train

A charming cogwheel train will transport you safely to the Montenvers station at an altitude of 1,913 m. During this unforgettable 20-minute journey, you’ll be treated to stunning vistas. Once you arrive, you can marvel at the famous Mer de Glace (Sea of Ice), a significant testament to the ongoing climate changes.
